Welcome to sparepets's iBook  S.P.A.R.E. pets outreach is a small New England based group dedicated to helping displaced animals in need. We have a "one dog at a time approach" meaning we try take in just one or a small group of animals at a time to insure that each of them gets the care and attention that they need while waiting for their forever family. This also gives us the opportunity to get to know the animal on much more personal level allowing us to better assess their needs and to match them with the right family An animal will stay with us as long as is necessary to find those right people and many do need some "work", too many animals are dumped in our shelters due to behavioral and simple health issues that can so easily be resolved with just some time and patience. These are mainly the animals that we focus on, the "less desirable-s", the poor souls that have been cast away at no fault of their own simply because someone did not want to put forth the effort in caring for their specific needs. We are advocates for the animals and are a mission to end breed discrimination, educate on proper pet ownership and put a stop to all of the neglect, abandonment and abuse.
